We are seeking a reliable and caring individual to join our team as a School Bus Assistant. The School Bus Assistant will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of students during their transportation to and from school.
Responsibilities:
Assist students in boarding and exiting the school bus safely.
Ensure that students are seated and secured properly during transit.
Maintain a positive and supportive atmosphere on the bus.
Communicate effectively with students, parents, and the bus driver.
Assist in maintaining order and discipline on the bus.
Report any incidents or concerns to the school administration.
Collaborate with the bus driver to ensure a smooth and safe transportation process.
Qualifications:
Previous experience working with children is preferred.
Ability to remain calm and patient in a dynamic environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Awareness of and commitment to student safety.
Positive attitude and a willingness to contribute to a positive school environment.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Completion of a background check and clearance.
Availability to work part-time hours, typically during morning and afternoon school bus routes.
