We are seeking a dynamic and organized individual to join our team as an Exhibition Supervisor. As an Exhibition Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the planning, execution, and coordination of exhibitions to ensure a successful and engaging experience for visitors.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate and supervise the setup and dismantling of exhibition displays.
Oversee the installation of artworks and exhibits according to curatorial guidelines.
Manage a team of exhibition staff, including technicians and support personnel.
Ensure the safety and security of exhibited items.
Collaborate with curators, artists, and vendors to execute exhibition plans.
Monitor and troubleshoot technical aspects of exhibition installations.
Develop and maintain timelines and budgets for exhibitions.
Train and guide staff on exhibition-related tasks.
Liaise with external contractors and service providers.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in exhibition coordination or a related field.
Strong organizational and project management skills.
Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
Knowledge of art handling, conservation, and exhibition design principles.
Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle unexpected challenges.
Familiarity with safety and security protocols in a gallery or museum setting.
Requirements:
