Hotel Store Keeper Vacancy in Dubai

Responsibilities:

Inventory Management:

Receive, inspect, and record incoming shipments of goods.

Organize and maintain inventory in an orderly manner, ensuring proper storage and easy accessibility.

Conduct regular stock counts to reconcile physical inventory with system records.

Order Processing:

Process and fulfill internal requisitions for materials and supplies.

Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of orders.

Monitor stock levels and initiate restocking as needed.

Documentation:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of inventory transactions.

Generate reports on inventory levels, stock usage, and discrepancies.

Prepare and maintain documentation related to shipping, receiving, and inventory control.

Quality Control:

Inspect incoming goods for quality and quantity, reporting any discrepancies.

Monitor and ensure compliance with storage and handling guidelines for different types of products.

Security and Safety:

Implement and enforce security measures to safeguard stored goods.

Adhere to safety standards and regulations, including proper handling of hazardous materials.

Collaboration:

Coordinate with other departments to understand their inventory needs.

Work closely with procurement and logistics teams to optimize inventory levels.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in logistics or supply chain management is a plus.

Proven experience as a storekeeper or in a similar role.

Familiarity with inventory management software and systems.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.

Physical stamina to handle lifting and moving of goods.

Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
