Accountant Vacancy in Dubai

We are looking for an Accountant who will be responsible for the maintenance of Books of Accounts, Invoice payment and verification.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Responsible or monthly closing of accounts and ensuring all schedules are prepared and collected from the team for analysis and audit.

Verification of online bank payments and Inter account transfers.

Coordinating with the team for opening of new accounts in Oracle Fusion.

Coordinating for developing enhancements and functional efficiencies, developing reports from Oracle Fusion.

Monitoring cash flow planning and investment of surplus funds.

Assist in forex management and planning.

Co-ordination with banks for operational needs, else centralized.

Monitoring of cash collections and payments and physical verification of cash along with the ledger.

To ensure all cash floats certificate are submitted every month end.

To ensure all bank accounts are reconciled on a monthly basis.

To check schedules for GL accounts are updated by the team in the respective folder.

Ensure exchange rates and revaluation rates are prepared every month end and updated in Oracle Fusion.

Ensure new skies exchange rates are prepared and sent for updating in Navitaire system.

To run the AP and monetary revaluation process quarterly in the Fusion system.

Provide assistance for Internal and External audit requirements and compliance.

Requirements and Qualifications:

Minimum Degree or Diploma holder in Business or any other related field.

Minimum 5 to 10 years work experience in Accounting and Finance.

Good knowledge of local and international markets.

Knowledge of Microsoft Office and use of different financial applications and understanding of systems.

Good negotiation and supervisory skills.
