We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced individual to join our team as an Accountant/Bookkeeper. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial records, managing accounts, and ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles.
Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain accurate financial records, including ledgers, journals, and invoices.
Perform day-to-day bookkeeping tasks such as recording transactions, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll.
Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
Prepare and process invoices, bills, and other financial documents.
Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets.
Conduct month-end and year-end closing procedures.
Ensure compliance with accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
Assist with audits and tax filings, working closely with external auditors or tax consultants.
Provide support to management by analyzing financial data and generating reports for decision-making.
