You will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of inventory control, ensuring accurate stock levels, and optimizing inventory processes to meet operational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate inventory records through regular stock counts, reconciliations, and database management.
Monitor inventory levels and analyze demand patterns to forecast and plan stock requirements.
Coordinate with purchasing and warehouse teams to ensure timely receipt and accurate recording of incoming stock.
Conduct regular audits to identify discrepancies, resolve issues, and prevent stock shortages or overages.
Implement inventory control procedures to minimize loss, maximize inventory accuracy, and optimize storage space.
Collaborate with relevant departments to ensure inventory data integrity and improve inventory management systems.
Generate reports on inventory performance, such as stock movement, turnover, and aging analysis.
Requirements:
Proven experience as an Inventory Controller, Inventory Manager, or similar role with expertise in inventory management and control procedures is Beneficial.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with the capacity to prioritize tasks effectively.
Knowledge of inventory control best practices, supply chain management, and logistics.
Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
