Key Responsibilities:
Receive and inspect incoming goods
Ensure accurate and systematic storage of products.
Maintain organized and efficient storage areas.
Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies.
Coordinate with other departments for restocking and inventory needs.
Prepare and process orders for replenishment.
Monitor expiry dates and handle perishable items appropriately.
Collaborate with the purchasing team to optimize stock levels.
Generate and maintain reports on inventory activities.
Assist in the implementation of safety and security measures.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Storekeeper or in a similar role within a supermarket.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment (if applicable)
Knowledge of inventory management systems.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
High school diploma or equivalent
