We are seeking a friendly and professional Front Desk Receptionist to join our team and be the first point of contact for our hotel guests. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a welcoming demeanor, and the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the hotel, addressing any inquiries or concerns they may have.
Assist guests with check-in and check-out procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
Provide information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions to guests.
Handle reservations and booking inquiries via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
Manage and coordinate guest requests, including room service, transportation, and other special arrangements.
Handle cash and credit transactions and maintain a balanced cash drawer at all times.
Maintain a neat and organized front desk area, including managing and distributing mail and messages.
Collaborate with other hotel staff to ensure that guest needs are met and any issues are resolved promptly.
Assist in administrative tasks, such as filing, data entry, and other office duties as assigned.
Uphold all hotel policies and procedures to ensure a safe and pleasant experience for guests.
Requirements:
Proven work experience as a Front Desk Receptionist or in a similar customer service role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a courteous and helpful attitude.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to handle various tasks simultaneously.
Proficiency in using hotel management software and handling reservations.
Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure or during busy periods.
High school diploma; additional certification in hospitality or related field is a plus.
Proficiency in multiple languages is advantageous.
