As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately selecting and preparing products for shipment, ensuring that orders are complete and ready for delivery to customers. Responsibilities:
Review and prioritize order lists to identify items and quantities required for each order.
Locate and retrieve products from designated storage areas within the warehouse, following specific guidelines and safety protocols.
Verify product quality and quantity, ensuring that all items selected for orders are accurate and in good condition.
Package and label orders accurately, preparing them for shipping or delivery while adhering to packaging standards and guidelines.
Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts or pallet Jacks, to move and transport materials as needed.
Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, following safety regulations and contributing to a safe working atmosphere.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in a warehouse setting, particularly in order picking, is preferred.
Familiarity with warehouse operations, including knowledge of inventory management and order fulfillment processes.
Ability to lift and move heavy objects, standing or walking for extended periods, and performing repetitive tasks efficiently.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling products and preparing orders for shipment.
Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues to meet production goals.
