Responsibilities:
Greet passengers with a warm and welcoming demeanor at check-in counters or arrival areas.
Assist passengers with ticketing, seat assignments, and boarding passes.
Provide information on flight schedules, boarding procedures, and baggage handling.
Check passengers identification and travel documents to ensure compliance with regulations.
Handle passenger inquiries and resolve issues, such as flight delays or lost luggage, in a professional and efficient manner.
Assist passengers with special needs, including those with disabilities or mobility challenges, and coordinate required assistance.
Tag and handle checked baggage, ensuring accuracy and compliance with safety regulations.
Monitor passenger queues and assist with crowd control during peak times.
Collaborate with airline staff, security personnel, and ground crew to ensure efficient flight operations.
Announce flight departures, boarding calls, and safety announcements over the public address system.
Prepare flight manifests and documentation for airline personnel.
Maintain cleanliness and organization at passenger service areas.
Adhere to safety and security protocols, including airport and airline regulations.
Assist passengers during boarding and disembarkation processes.
Keep up-to-date with airline policies, procedures, and regulations.
Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisors or managers.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in customer service or a related field is a plus but not required.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
Physical fitness and the ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Basic computer skills for data entry and ticketing systems.
Willingness to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Knowledge of aviation and airline industry terminology is a plus.
