As an Airline Food Service Worker, you will play a vital role in ensuring that passengers receive high-quality meals and service during their flights. Your responsibilities will include preparing and packaging meals, maintaining cleanliness, and adhering to strict safety and sanitation standards.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and assemble airline meals according to established recipes and guidelines.
Package and label meals accurately, ensuring they are ready for in-flight service.
Maintain proper food storage and temperature control in accordance with safety regulations.
Assist with loading and unloading meal carts onto aircraft.
Ensure the cleanliness and hygiene of food preparation areas, equipment, and utensils.
Follow strict food safety and sanitation procedures at all times.
Collaborate with other team members to meet production and service goals.
Monitor food quality and report any issues to the supervisor.
Assist in inventory management, including restocking supplies and ingredients.
Comply with airline-specific policies and procedures related to food service.
Adhere to safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Assist in maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in food service or a similar role is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Basic math skills for portioning and packaging meals.
Physical stamina and the ability to lift and carry meal carts and supplies.
