We are seeking a dedicated and versatile General Helper to assist in various tasks across our organization. The General Helper will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and organized work environment, performing basic manual tasks, and providing support to different departments as needed.
Responsibilities:
Assist with general cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure a safe and orderly work environment.
Perform manual labor tasks, such as lifting and moving objects, as directed by supervisors.
Assist in setting up and organizing workspaces, meeting rooms, and events.
Run errands, such as purchasing supplies or making deliveries.
Support different departments with tasks, including filing, photocopying, and basic administrative duties.
Assist in inventory management, including counting, labeling, and organizing materials and supplies.
Dispose of trash and recycling in accordance with company policies and environmental regulations.
Operate basic office equipment, such as photocopiers or fax machines.
Provide assistance to colleagues and visitors, ensuring a welcoming and helpful atmosphere.
Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, and other concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Follow safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a secure working environment.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience as a general helper or in a similar role is a plus but not required.
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
Physical fitness and the ability to lift and carry objects as needed.
Basic organizational and time-management skills.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to follow instructions and work well as part of a team.
