Responsibilities:
Collaborate with clients to understand their event needs and preferences.
Plan, organize, and execute events, including weddings, conferences, meetings, and social gatherings.
Select and coordinate event venues, catering, decor, and entertainment.
Create detailed event proposals, timelines, and budgets.
Manage event logistics, including set-up, guest registration, and tear-down.
Coordinate with hotel staff to ensure seamless event execution.
Oversee event budgets, track expenses, and negotiate vendor contracts.
Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates and address concerns.
Handle event-related inquiries and provide excellent customer service.
Maintain knowledge of current event trends and industry best practices.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Hospitality Management, Event Planning, or a related field is preferred.
Previous experience in event planning or a similar role in the hospitality industry is a plus.
Strong organizational and project management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Creative and detail-oriented with a keen eye for aesthetics.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in event planning software and Microsoft Office applications.
