Hostess Responsibilities:

Greeting and Seating Guests:

Welcome guests with a friendly and inviting demeanor as they enter the establishment.

Escort guests to their designated tables and assist with seating arrangements.

Reservation Management:

Manage incoming reservations and ensure all bookings are appropriately recorded and organized.

Handle reservation inquiries and assist customers in making reservations.

Waiting Area Maintenance:

Maintain the waiting area to be clean, organized, and comfortable for guests during their wait.

Keep track of waitlists and manage guest seating in an organized manner.

Customer Assistance:

Provide exceptional customer service by attending to guests needs and inquiries.

Offer menu recommendations and answer questions about the establishment and services.

Floor Coordination:

Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth coordination of table turnovers and efficient service.

Cashier Responsibilities:

Payment Processing:

Process customer orders accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale (POS) system.

Handle cash, credit card, or digital payments, providing correct change and receipts as needed.

Order Verification:

Verify the accuracy of customer orders before processing payments to avoid any errors.

Sales Reporting:

Keep track of daily sales, transactions, and other relevant data and report them to management.

Cash Register Management:

Balance cash registers at the beginning and end of each shift, ensuring the correct amount of change is available.

Customer Service:

Provide friendly and helpful customer service, addressing any payment-related inquiries or concerns.

Promotion and Loyalty Programs:

Promote loyalty programs, discounts, and special offers to customers during the checkout process.

Receipts and Invoices:

Print and issue receipts or invoices for customers upon request.

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a Hostess, Cashier, or in a customer-facing role is advantageous but not always required.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers and colleagues.

Friendly and welcoming demeanor with a customer-centric attitude.

Ability to handle cash and process payments accurately.

Proficiency in using a point-of-sale (POS) system is a plus but can be trained on the job.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage reservations and cash transactions.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.

Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
