As an IT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to our employees and ensuring the efficient operation of our IT systems. Responsibilities:
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues reported by end-users.
Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, applications, and peripherals.
Set up and support email accounts, user accounts, and access rights.
Assist with IT inventory management, including hardware and software tracking.
Maintain and update IT documentation, including user guides and manuals.
Collaborate with IT team members to implement and support IT projects and initiatives.
Ensure the security and confidentiality of data by following IT security policies and procedures.
Respond to IT support requests in a timely and professional manner.
Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff or external vendors as needed.
Stay informed about the latest IT trends and technologies to provide innovative solutions.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience in IT support or a similar role.
Strong knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, and software applications.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Effective communication and customer service abilities.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
Knowledge of networking fundamentals is an advantage.
IT certifications such as CompTIA A +, Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), or Cisco CCNA are a plus.
