The Art of Tailoring, a luxury custom fashion design house in Dubai, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fashion Designer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fashion design, exceptional sewing skills, and expertise in creating clothing patterns. In this role, you will manage our talented team of tailors, oversee production, and provide guidance and mentorship to ensure the highest quality craftsmanship in our bespoke creations.
Responsibilities:
Develop and create unique, innovative designs for our clients.
Produce detailed design illustrations and technical drawings.
Create and adjust patterns to achieve the perfect fit and silhouette.
Manage and guide a team of tailors, overseeing production and ensuring quality control.
Teach and mentor tailors, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
Communicate effectively in English with team members and clients.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Fashion Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
Proficiency in sewing, pattern making, and garment construction.
Ability to create detailed design illustrations and technical drawings.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to speak English fluently
