There is significant written reporting in this role and the gathering of research, hence written English grammar must be fluent. However, fluency in either Arabic, French, Portuguese or Dari would be extremely beneficial. The role demands a self-starter, capable of working independently and with initiative. The workload is large and can be extremely pressurized, managing multiple projects / issues at one time and attention to detail is vital.
Ideally candidates will have experience working within Human Resources and /or the Humanitarian field and have dealt with the disciplinary process prior. Equally experience of working across African and Middle Eastern countries is required. The minimum education requirement is a Diploma in Legal Studies, Business or International Affairs, however, a Bachelors Degree is preferred.
