Technical Engineer is responsible for implementing, maintaining, supporting, developing and, in some cases designing the ICT/ELV related infrastructure and BOQs.
Your job scope will also include:
Prepare BOQs based on customer requirements.
Provide support to end user customers onsite or remotely.
Establishing ELV environment by designing system configuration, directing system installation, defining, documenting, and enforcing system standards.
Coordinate with different service provider to design, review, and implementation the required ICT/ELV project.
The implementation of new solutions and improving resilience of the current environment.
Involve in testing and commissioning of the installed systems and ensure compliance and handover.
Maximizing performance by monitoring performance, troubleshooting problems and outages, scheduling upgrades.
Maintain system software and hardware asset list.
Report to the Project Manager of site progress and problems being encountered for assistance and guidance.
Supervision of contractors / vendors working within the projects.
Schedule and approve Preventative Maintenance (PM) on systems as per site requirements.
Ensures proper inventory levels for spare parts for all facilities equipment.
Creating Permits to Work (PTW) for the team.
To be considered for this role, you will need to have:
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Mechatronics or electronic engineering.
1-2 Years experience in networking, project management and IT related configurations.
Solid understanding of ELV systems
Excellent communication skills for interfacing with internal and external stakeholders.
Excellent problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple reviews and deadlines.
Responsive to changing demands
Ability to evaluate new approaches, systems, and design solutions.
