Competent to pass and qualify the welding test as per MPSI procedures.
Knowledge in highest standard of welding process to avoid Weld defects and must be experienced in determining the kind of welding method, technique, equipment and tools needed to do a job.
Knowledge in identifying the proper welding electrode or flux that is compatible with the material specification of the joint as per company procedures.
Able to detect and determine the defective materials.
Experienced in performing the routine maintenance on welding equipments and able to determine the kind of maintenance needed.
Must have fundamental understanding on HSEQ and safe welding.
Must have technical education on Welding, Gas, Stick, MIG and TIG welding process up to 6G.
Able to read drawings and must have 6G Certification on GTAW on Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel and Aluminum materials.
