We are looking for an experienced accountant with experience in Construction field in the UAE with 10 to 12 years to oversee general accounting operations by controlling and verifying our financial transactions. Job location is in Al Mafraq, Abu Dhabi, UAE.
Roles and Responsibilities
Assist with the preparation of financial statements.
Analyze and reconcile bank statements and maintaining a general ledger.
Post journal entries for accrued expenses and revenue.
Maintain and record fixed assets
Prepare and file local compliance reporting as necessary.
Act as a liaison for subcontractors and materials to reconcile any billing discrepancies.
Preparing month-end close procedures
Analyze financial reports and forecasts.
Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance.
10-12 Years related experience
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent problem-solving skills
Knowledge of ERP systems, including Microsoft Office.
Able to multi-task and prioritize work effectively.
Arabic speaking and writing preferred.
