Quality Control Assurance Engineer Atex Officer

Qualification :

1. Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent degree) with avg5 years experience in Quality Management / Inspection.

2. NDT Level II Qualification in RT, PT and MT Testing of ASNT / DIN (certification may be obtained during probation)

3. Knowledge in ASME/ASTM/ASNT, DIN-EN, PED, MSS SP-55, Nace and other International material/test standard.

4. Knowledge in Welding and Fabrication and experience in leading Companies / Projects of Middle east operations.

5. Good communication skills in English Talking and Writing. Must be capable of handling International job debates.

6. experience on handling of Supplier Qualification process / Supply Chain Management co-ordination role Globally.

Core Objectives :

Fulfill PROTEGO Quality requirements and maintain ISO-9001 related system including local/legal HSE requirements.

Jobs Inspection from raw material to final approval and maintaining related documents and control of ATEX product.

Understand Norms, PROTEGO (Casting) Specifications and Suppliers manufacturing as well as Quality control process.

Communicate the PROTEGO requirement to the suppliers and drive the qualification process and ensure best quality.

Support the resourcing/qualification process for new items such as first sample, pilot lots and its inspection and testing.

Interface between PROTEGO and its Suppliers and co-ordination of jobs between Suppliers and PROTEGO subsidiaries.

Verification of suppliers inspection/in-process control results against standards, drawings, procedures and specification.

Inspection visits to Suppliers and stage wise and final clearance of products matching PO time lines-in bulk production.

Co-ordination of Customer/TPI inspections at Factory and or @any desired laboratories (as applicable by PO / specifications )

Communicate back to PROTEGO for Engineering and Design changes, (Inspections and acceptance of possible changes)

Job Functions :

Regular inspection of serial produced parts in compliance to Casting specification, Inspection guidelines and POs etc.

Verification of MTC (Material Test Certificate) and other inspection/test reports and documents prior-shipping release.

Improve Supplier Quality, ensure On-Time Delivery and identify potentials to reduce lead time and Non-Conformances.

Inspection of First samples and Pilot batches and its approval based on various inspections/testing and document review.

Clarification of in-process hurdles and advising suppliers for better quality levels and easiness to achieve best products.

Involvement in corrective and preventive actions of production and provide feedbacks such as 8D Reports and its control.

Perform periodic process Audits and Quality verifications at PME and their Major Sub-contractors and Sub-suppliers etc.
