The Operations.NET Engineer will design, develop and provide support and maintenance to be-spoke solutions supporting the Robotics Process Automation (RPA) platform. The Ideal candidate will work on solutions, building improvements, performance enhancements, optimization and maintenance.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Design and build software solutions
- Review and gain understanding of the existing systems and code base.
- Build fixes and enhancements to existing solutions.
- Assess and interpret customer needs and requirements.
- Triage or escalate alerts from monitoring applications.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize the existing solutions.
- Coordinate with Network, security and other technology teams as required.
- Participate in situation monitoring calls and Patch maintenance routines.
- Solve complex problems and/or conduct complex analyses.
- Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Competencies
- Strong Web Application development using Microsoft Stack of technologies such as IIS, VB,.NET Core.
- Able to Architect, build and ship highly scalable systems, libraries, and frameworks.
- Able to address issues and understand solutions in code walk through and design reviews.
- General knowledge of SQL, able to write medium complexity SQL queries.
- Windows server experience with application deployment.
- Exposure to troubleshooting tools and techniques related to networks and systems, e.g. Remote access etc.
- General understanding of IT security concepts as they relate to production environment.
- Good understanding of SDLC process. Working in Agile SCRUM.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor\'s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Applications, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or Information Technology.
- IT industry experience
- Full Software Development Life Cycle experience on.NET platform with VB,.NET Core, Web services, Web Development and good understanding of SOA architecture and RDBMS concepts.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- experience in cloud-based services and hosting (Azure)
- experience with GIT
- Exposure to Java Script based framework like AngularJS / ReactJS /VueJS.
- Exposure to Containers, Docker, Kubernetes.
- Exposure to CI/CD
- Exposure of Powershell, Unix Shell Script and/or Python.
- Exposure to UiPath
