Influencing vision and strategies that increase our level of automation for service delivery, and operations at an extremely distributed scale. Building collaborative relationships with key partners by driving priorities aligned to value streams, influencing and prioritizing product roadmaps, and gaining buy-in from executive leadership Providing overall direction by analyzing organizational objectives and needs. Building a team environment by partnering to solve problems and staying focused till there is a solution Software Developer Qualifications Bachelor of Science and 4 years systems engineering experience OR Master of Science and 3 years systems engineering experience OR PhD OR 6 years of experience Proficiency with server-side languages such as Python, Java and Go Lang. Proficiency with scripting languages such as Java Script, Groovy, Node.JS. Proficient with database technology such as MySQL, Oracle and MongoDB. Also Cloud Databases, preferably Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, Google Spanner, Big Query. Proficient in Object Oriented Design and Programming skills Understand and implements Design and integration Patterns Proficient with middleware technologies like the Application Server (Tomcat, TomEE, Node.Js, etc.), messaging (Kafka, ActiveMQ, JMS based messaging, etc.) and integration (Camel, Service Mix, API Management, etc.) Proficient with source code management, and CI/CD pipelines. Proficient with testing frameworks and tools and build systems like Jenkins. experience in working on Unix/Linux environments. experience in working Azure, and GCP cloud environments is plus experience investigating, analyzing and troubleshooting large scale enterprise systems. experience and exposure with managing and scaling 24/7 enterprise level applications. Strong Systems Engineering knowledge, including a good understanding of Configuration management, system deployment automation tools like Terraform, system performance monitoring to understand and interpret system performance metrics, etc.
Data Scientists Qualifications
Masters or Doctoral degree in Computer Science (with a focus in Data Mining, Machine Learning and at least one of its disciplines, such as Natural Language Processing and Computer Vision), Statistics, Econometrics, Computational Neuroscience, Operational Research, Physics, or any other quantitative disciplines that require processing and modeling data at a large scale 2 + years of relevant industry experience Proficient in Python, SQL, Spark, the associated Python and Spark packages commonly used by data scientists, and Deep Learning libraries, such as Tensorflow, Keras, and PyTorch Proficient in other languages, such as R, used in data science is a plus Strong understanding of and practical experience in a wide-range of machine learning algorithms Good understanding of and practical experience with statistical modeling Practical experience of using cloud computing experience working with large structured and unstructured datasets Working knowledge of relational and NOSQL databases Basic knowledge of data engineering is a plus Certificates earned in data mining, machine learning, deep learning, statistical modeling, cloud computing, and data engineering is a plus Interested in applying data science to solving retail-related problems Strong verbal and written communication skills.
