Position Summary The person hired for this position will be part of a team whose objective and responsibility are software development for projects in the Digital Product Center of Excellence. This positions primary responsibility is to support database application development for 3M Divisions and Labs. It includes having experience with development, deployment, and support of database applications.

- Develops database solutions using best practices for traditional relational, NoSQL, Document, etc. Style databases.
- Aids and consultation to other applications groups and work within cross-functional teams.
- Develops schema, storage, procedures, and policies for traditional and cloud-based databases.
- Ensures 24/7 availability, optimized performance, backup, recovery, and security procedures adherence for deployed solutions.
- Source code control using Git based repositories.
- Minimum five (5) years IT professional experience.
- Minimum five (5) years Database Development experience.
- experience debugging and resolving issues with stored procedures.
- Bachelors degree from an accredited university preferred.
- Ability to multi-task and handle large workloads under time constraints.
