* Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology or business discipline OR extensive experience in the specific business domain.

* Proven experience in roles as either a Solution Architect or in a senior technical role on large IT projects delivery.
* Strong architecture and design experience in Digital architecture landscape consisting of Web Technologies, Social Media Technologies, Mobile Apps (iOS/Android), Cloud Based Technologies (e.g. AWS), E-Commerce platforms.
* Experienced managing teams in a dynamic project environment.
* Demonstrated ability in driving and then implementing business strategies into IT solutions.

Responsibilities Measures:
* Build and manage a productive relationship between IT and the relevant business stakeholders and functions in order to identify, prioritise and deliver applications and products, improving business outcomes, aligned to both the business and technology strategies.
* Provide technical leadership and proactively drive the intended outcomes of the end to end solution.
* Manage responsibility for all application, design, development, testing and warranty within the assigned business areas working towards a true dev/ops model.
* Review and ensure solution designs conform to end to end operability in accordance with Target’s standards, framework, roadmap and principles.
* Support the adoption of lean principles and Agile practices as and where appropriate.
* Develop necessary artefacts such as solution options paper, solution outline, solution architecture document (SAD), high level design (HLD), and Data/Information Models.
* Architectural governance role during the delivery, providing technical leadership for solution designers and development teams. Define application architecture standards and best practices required for adherence.
