As a Dev Ops Engineer, you will provide services to development and data teams that promote faster innovation. You will be responsible for delivering and supporting automated Cloud infrastructure services as per designs that are in line with strategy. And, design, develop, and implement software integrations based on user feedback.
Role and Responsibilities :
- Deliver work to agreed performance standards and timeframes whether as an individual, part of a team or a leader of a small team.

- Develop appropriate planning as required (capacity plans, business continuity plans, utilization, etc)
- Solve routine and non-routine technical issues.
- Develop expertise in one or more technologies and ensure expertise is communicated to other team members.
- Maintain good relationships with key customers and suppliers of products and services.
- Mentoring of junior or less skilled team members.
- Keeps up-to-date with the latest trends and offerings relating to cloud infrastructure.
- Consistently demonstrates the ability to change direction through learnings and iteration.
- Identify opportunities for IT contribution to business improvement.
- Maintain an excellent awareness of tactics, environment and trends in the retail business and within Kmart.
- Identify opportunities to improve systems functionality to address business issues.
- Work within and lead project teams to deliver designs and solutions to satisfy business needs within project time frames.
- Understand and work within the risk framework and ensure appropriate quality standards are applied in all instances.
- Operate and lead others to operate within Kmarts security standards.
- Be involved in the risk assessment of new technologies.
- Document detailed designs and procedures for the ongoing support of the infrastructure.
- Ensure utilization of technology is in line with published strategies and architectures.
- Provide expert technical advice and guidance across the organization and within the team.
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of standards for product design, implementation, and management.
- Promote the use of relevant new technology or technology features within the organization.
- Develop and maintain cloud architecture, patterns, and practices.
- Takes technical leadership for major issues in development, test, and production environments. Provide technical leadership and support to the resolution of critical problems.
- Drives resolution of technical impediments.
