DTH Lead IT Operations is part of the IT Transformation team and plays a vital role in supporting the execution of strategic programs that are part of a comprehensive IT and Digital Transformation that is currently underway. The transformation program seeks to leverage technology to create sustainable competitive advantage for Delta. The individual will focus on ensuring smooth operations at DTH by overseeing the setup and maintenance of all IT infrastructure, managing our facilities and operations partner to ensure uninterrupted delivery of office and workspace services, supervising day-to-day technology operations at DTH, and support the implementation of DTH strategy related initiatives and projects.
Responsibilities
IT Infrastructure Operations and Support DTH Field Operations.
- Oversee the IT infrastructure operations support at DTH including endpoint configuration and provisioning, troubleshooting, and planning and procurement of laptops and peripherals.
- Be responsible for end-to-end technology compliance and information security compliance for DTH.
- Ensure robust asset management and configuration management at DTH in alignment with Delta global policies.
- Be responsible for IT asset inventory at DTH to ensure that we have the enough stock of the right assets to provision to our employees/contractors.
- Administer and manage the IT asset procurement process including liaising and negotiating with vendors, receiving quotation, getting internal approvals, issuance of purchase order and follow up during inbound logistics and delivery. Maintain a relationship with in-country representatives from Deltas global vendors including providers of end user, network, and server infrastructure.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders at Delta IT to facilitate compliance and Info Sec policy implementation at DTH.
- Oversee and manage the technology elements of the facilities viz. Physical security, CCTV, access control, HVAC setup of datacenter, office safety etc. Including dissemination of policies, records management, compliance, and information security of end-to-end estate Manage and oversee our facilities and operations partner to ensure safe, smooth, and uninterrupted day-to-day operations at DTH including workspace, office paraphernalia, physical security, transportation, cafeteria, and staff members May perform other duties as assigned. Coach/guide any junior members in the team.
- Support the implementation of DTH strategy by tracking and program managing the various in progress growth and engagement initiatives at DTH and Support special projects and tracking progress towards company goals.
- A minimum of 8-10 years of experience with a large multinational IT services companies (preferably in IBM, HP, Accenture, Capgemini, Wipro, Infosys etc. With minimum 5 years of experience in IT help desk/service desk has good understanding of IT Infra including servers, networks, firewalls, access control, ODC setup, collab equipment, information security, IT tools etc.
- Reasonable understanding of activities related to facilities/corporate management/office admin in large MNC.
- Has excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Can communicate effectively with all levels of employees and management, capable of successful formal and informal communication.
- Can work independently with 3rd parties in an outcome-oriented manner including setting expectations, giving directions, negotiations, paperwork, and operations oversight.
