Responsibilities.
The ideal candidate will architect and implement robust, flexible and secure cloud-native software solutions for clients and customers around the globe. The candidate will be responsible for analyzing business problems and finding the best technical approaches among all possible options. The candidate must also be able to achieve balanced solutions to meet both short-term and long-term goals, identify risks in technical designs and develop mitigation plans. Key accountabilities include the following. Create and document architecture design specifications Describe the structure, characteristics, behavior, and other aspects of software solutions to stakeholders Assist in establishing and enforcing coding standards, software design patterns, best practices, and optimization techniques to enable teams deliver high quality solutions Analyze solution deployment and implementation methods to ensure their compliance with company policies and external regulations that may apply, including any regulatory or internal security requirements Work with cross functional teams on requirements gathering for upcoming initiatives and create Proof of Concepts accordingly Keep up with latest technology trends including Cloud, AI/ML, NLP, Cognitive Services, etc. Mentor junior technical team members Qualifications Bachelors degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering or equivalent 8 + years of experience in software development 6 + years of hands-on experience in Java and Spring framework or equivalent technology stack 4 + years of experience working as technical/solution architect Must have proven experience in building large scale web and mobile platforms Must have excellent communication and problem-solving skills Must be a team player. experience working with remote teams in different time zones preferred Retail industry experience preferred Cloud certification preferred About This Opportunity.
