About this team This role is on Retail Services team in the lululemon technology organization. This team is responsible for creating api’s and backend integration following microservices architecture principals on AWS cloud infrastructure stack. This Software Engineer (Devops) position is a highly technical role with accountability to manage infrastructure as code, build and operate CI/CD pipelines, automate existing processes, and create a catalog of self-serve offerings to help development teams deploy faster to production. We are looking for a motivated Devops engineer to become a core member of our team building solutions for retail delivery team here at lululemon. We work in a cloud native environment where “automation” and “Infrastructure as Code” are guiding principles and necessary for the development of high-quality and resilient software systems. These systems, which you will build and extend, are all integrated into a consistent automated CI/CD pipeline. experience and Skillset: · Demonstrable experience with configuration, orchestration, and automation tools such as Jenkins, Puppet, Ansible, Maven, and Ant to provide full stack integration · Working knowledge of Containers, i.e, Docker Kubernetes, ideally with experience transitioning an organization through its adoption · Strong working knowledge of enterprise platforms, tools and principles including: Web Services, Load Balancers, Shell Scripting, Authentication, IT Security, and Performance Tuning · Demonstrated understanding of system resiliency, redundancy, failovers, and disaster recovery · experience working with a variety of vendor APIs including cloud, physical and logical infrastructure devices · Strong working knowledge of Cloud offerings (EC2, ECS, IAM, Lambda, Cloud services, API management, PaaS) · experience managing and deploying Infrastructure as Code, using tools like Terraform · Manage and maintain standards for Devops tools used by the team · Administering the cloud environments (Prod, Dev, and QA) · Work closely with the software developers and product management teams to design, deploy, and manage scalable software services on the cloud and on premise · Providing system analysis and recommended solutions for environment performance and availability needs · Monitoring and escalating engineering issues to Product Management/R and D teams when required · Managing a continuous integration/deployment methodology for our server-based technologies · Provides technical assistance and problem resolution for assigned systems. Leads resolution of production support problems in accordance with problem management policies and procedures. Leads resolution of production support incidents in accordance with incident management policies and procedures. Coordinates with vendors for problem resolution and change requests. · Provides technical guidance to ensure that installed systems are working effectively and that proposed systems will meet organization’s future needs. · Identifies and provides recommendations for system process improvements.
Qualifications: · Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Information Technology, or in a related technical field or equivalent technology experience. · Minimum 4 years of progressively responsible, post-baccalaureate work experience designing, developing, and implementing computer software projects utilizing open-source services framework · experience with the following Cloud Native tools: Git, Jenkins, Grafana, Prometheus, Ansible, Artifactory, Vault, Splunk, Consul, Terraform, Kubernetes · Strong organizational skills with the ability to track and prioritize numerous tasks and to coordinate activities with a high sense of urgency · Excellent presentation, verbal, written, interpersonal and listening skills · Strong interpersonal and leadership skills including collaboration, facilitation, and negotiation · Strong collaboration skills to achieve business goals collectively across broad teams · Challenges the status quo, champions change and influences others to change.

- Strong software development fundamentals including automated testing, source control (Git), continuous integration in addition to continuous delivery and/or deployment. experience working with complex multi-Tier applications.

- Working knowledge about Cloud Security Assurance (Identity, Perimeter Defense, Monitoring and Surveillance, compliance)
- Working knowledge of working in Cloud Network Segmentation, Connectivity and Pipeline Automation.
