Walmart\'s Global Cloud Platform team, also known as GTP (Global Tech Platform), helps thousands of developers save time and code better, so that millions of Walmart associates can help hundreds of millions of customers to save money and live better.
We sustain millions of transactions per second, process petabytes of data, and enable tens of thousands of production deployments per day. We simplify the complexities of scale and unify the software development for all aspects of business, digital and physical.
We are developer’s developers. We provide and foster the cloud native culture to our organization. Our team has the whole gamut of platforms, services, libraries, tools and frameworks on some of the cutting-edge technologies to solve hard, complex and high scale business problems. The Infrastructure as a Service team provides private and public cloud infrastructure - compute (VMs, CPUs, GPUs and Bare metals), storage (CEPH), SDN and container platform. The Developer Environment – DE team – provides world class CI/CD pipelines, workflow automation, repositories and One Ops deployment tool providing ultimate Dev Ops power to developers for continuous delivery. The data platforms team provides multi-tenant managed services for app data (rdbms, nosql, search, cache), data in motion (Audit and Reconciliation, JMS, Kafka, AMQ, stream processing frameworks, unified data pipeline, etc) and data analytics (Hadoop, spark, etc.
Your Opportunity
As part of the Customer Analytics Team @Walmart Labs, you’ll have the opportunity to make a difference by being a part of development team that builds products at Walmart scale, which is the foundation of Customer Analytics across Walmart. One of the key attribute of this job is that you are required to continuously innovate and apply technology to provide business 360 view of Walmart customers.
Your Responsibility
· Highly proficient in writing HTML5, CSS3, Java Script, Jquery, Ajax, JSON and XML / XSD / XSLT, ReactJS, NodeJS.
· Expert in Browser Compatibility, Responsive Web Design, Accessibility.
· Expert in UI Design Patterns, unit testing frameworks and test driven development.
· Experienced in developing applications using Java/J2EE, Web Services and REST APIs.
· experience with stylesheet languages (Sass or LESS) and HTML template.
· Working knowledge of Web Analytics and relevant tools.
· Working knowledge of Git source control and git-flow methodology.
· Working knowledge of a MVC Framework such as AngularJS.
· Working knowledge of Continuous Integration (Dev Ops) and relevant tools such as Maven/Jenkins)
· Working knowledge of best UX standards and practices.

Your Qualifications
· Bachelor\'s Degree and 5 + years of experience in Computer Science or related field.
· Ability to solve complex problems with elegance and simplicity.
· Ability to present the user interface visually as per UX mockups.
· experience in web design including HTML/CSS, DHTML, Java Script, AJAX.
· experience in creating click-through prototypes. Expert knowledge in industry trends and experience designing applications leveraging these trends.
· Creativity with an eye towards detail and perfection of final product.
· Well-rounded understanding of web usability best practices.
