Role Objective:
* Write test plans and perform manual executions of testing across a variety of software products.
Essential Responsibilities:
* Write test plans and perform manual executions of testing across a variety of software products.
* Performing audits and tests of software products in accordance with software test plans and procedures, debugging.
* Characterizing defects and providing detailed configuration and descriptions for passing and failing tests for product evaluation reports.
* Maintain documentation of test operations and reports results to engineering, identify actual or potential problems in test plans or Company products.
* Assist product development engineers in the diagnosis and replication of product failures.
* Analyze functional specifications for completeness and testability.
* Find, document and report bugs, errors, interoperability flaws and other issues within proprietary software applications.
* Communicate and explain testing methodology, processes, tools, templates, environment and concepts to Team Members.
* Write test strategies that document testing approach to include number/type of test cycles required, existing test Scripts to use/update, new test Scripts to write, environment requirements, training needs and backend system testing.
Essential Skills / Technologies:
* Education Required: Bachelors Degree
* Manual Testing - Mandatory
* Automation - Nice to Have
* Performance testing - Nice to have
* MS TFS - Highly desired
* Front end testing on Web browsers
