At Multinational Departmental Store Firm India, we are looking for a Engineer who is proficient in Node.JS and ReactJS on JavaScript stack for new programs for all three different verticals of the Conglomerate group - Multinational Departmental Store Firm Retail, Sodimac Home Improvement and Tottus supermarket. You will focus on developing APIs which can scale, which interact with our client applications in a stable, intuitive and secured way. You will ensure these APIs are robust and easy to maintain. Connected with an existing data system that will be part of a new platform that is being developed for our various Ecommerce sites. You will coordinate with rest of the team working on different layers of the platform and infrastructure, hence collaborative problem solving and quality product is very important.
-Strong proficiency with Java Script, Node.JS and ES6 or ECMA 2015.
-Knowledge of frameworks such as Express (Router set-up), Strong Loop, etc.
-Knowledge and understanding of Event Loop architecture.
-Knowledge and understanding of promises.
-Knowledge and understanding of Axios, proficiency in REST-ful APIs.
-Knowledge of Node Debugging.
-Knowledge of Data Structures and Algorithms, Node Global variables and In-built libraries.
-Understanding the nature of asynchronous programming and its quirks and workarounds.
-Good understanding of server-side templating languages [such as Jade, EJS, etc ]
-Good understanding of server-side CSS preprocessors [such as Stylus, Sass etc]
-Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server side logic.
-Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code.
-Design and implementation of low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications.
-Implementation of security and data protection.
-Integration of data storage solutions [RDBMS, No SQLDB]
· Minimum demonstrable professional experience of 1-2 years as Frontend Developer in React.js, making use of the tools.
· JavaScript proficiency, including DOM manipulations.
· Thorough understanding of React.js and Redux and its core principles.
· experience with data structure libraries (eg Immutable.js)
· Familiarity with RESTful APIs
· Familiarity with benchmarking and optimization.
· Familiarity with front-end build pipeline and tools.
