About the team
The opportunity is for a role in the Commerce and Transactions team. Our team is responsible for creating seamless guest experiences focused on ecommerce transactions, and guest accounts. This team is also in the process of transforming a traditional monolith architecture to a cloud-based service architecture.

Who You Are
The ideal candidate performs the development of high-performing, well-tested, and thoughtfully architected software applications that satisfy our internal business needs and power guest experiences. Has proven experience in effectively applying mathematical, and social principles to design, build, and maintain technology products, and solutions that provide fantastic customer experiences.
A Day in the Life
· Have a good understanding of algorithms, data structures, programming languages, programming paradigms to test and operate sustainable client-side or server-side software applications and services.
· Work on the active Sprint and backlog items.
· Assist in troubleshooting and resolving production system issues. Discuss the current Sprint and any problems that need to be addressed by our Tech Managers and Scrum Masters.
· Have an engineering mindset.
· Work with the teams to add and refine acceptance criteria and the definition-of-done to user stories.
· Develop Java-based extensions to ATG Commerce (Oracle Commerce Platform) application, using Java, J2EE, and Oracle database.
· Partner with other lululemon technical teams (middleware, database, and infrastructure) to create interface documents and mappings to ensure the Commerce and Transactions platform is built in a Service Oriented Architecture manner.
· Provide technical expertise in establishing processes and procedures to ensure standards are followed.
· Monitor the day-to-day performance of the eCommerce platform, and associated integrations, to ensure that speed and uptime are maintained at optimal levels at all times.

Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in computer science/engineering or equivalent.
· 5 + Years of software engineering experience.
· 3 + Years’ experience designing solutions in an ecommerce platform such as ATG (Oracle Commerce) Payment and Checkout solutions, Commercetools, Elasticpath, Hybris etc.
· Strong understanding of microservice architecture and knowledge of challenges related to building cloud-native apps.
· experience in design and development of RESTful APIs using Java, Springboot and Microservices JAX-RS and JSON.
· Solid working experience with AWS.
· Strong software development fundamentals, including automated testing, source control, continuous integration in addition to continuous delivery and/or deployment.
· Strong technical, hands-on experience to support development, infrastructure, and operations.
· experience working with security log analysis, application logs, and general log management practices.
· Kafka, Kubernetes, Terraform experience a plus.
· 3Rd party payment integrations experience a plus.
