Role Description
We are looking for a Software Engineer who can develop high-performing, well-tested and thoughtfully architected software applications that satisfy our internal business needs, global user community, and cover guest experiences. The candidate must have proven experience in effectively applying scientific, mathematical and social principles to design, build, and maintain technology products, devices, systems and solutions that provide amazing customer experiences.
Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end engineering projects and problems of complex scope and create an impact within practice.
- Manage cross team software dependencies within discipline as it pertains to deliverable.
- Collaborate with all disciplines to ensure problem and recommend solution is understood.
- Deliver software that meet architectural and operational requirements and perform as per expectations.
- Uses algorithms, data structures, programming languages, programming paradigms to create, test and operate sustainable client-side or server-side software applications and services.
- Builds and extends software applications in varying fcloud, hybrid cloud, and on-premise) environments.
- Engages in ongoing quality and performance improvement to ensure reliability and security.
- Proficient in producing robust application design and producing patterns to ensure applications are resilient and scalable.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science/engineering or equivalent.
- 2 + Years of software engineering experience; 3 + years in IT.
- Passion for solving problems and strong curiosity to understand how things work.
- experience designing and developing software solutions.
- Strong software development fundamentals including automated testing, source control, continuous integration in addition to continuous delivery and/or deployment.
- Must have skills: Flex PLM, JAVA, Familiar to Oracle and SQL databases, Exposure to Windows/Linux server, AWS services.
