Parking Operation Supervisor Vacancy in Dubai

Primary functions

People

Lead by example whilst continually providing/improving service to the business.

Confer with other supervisory or managerial personnel to recommend changes in order to avoid recurring customer complaints.

To maintain good communications and consult regularly with the car park staff, seeking assistance and agreeing on actions to resolve outstanding issues.

To support, advice and direct car park staff in the achievement of their agreed objectives and prescribed core standards.

To appraise performance regularly and instigate appropriate remedial action to address shortcomings.

To induct new car park staff, train and develop them to be capable of performing to the standard expected by the Company.

To maintain good communications and consult daily with the Car Parks Manager and car park staff, seeking assistance and agreeing on actions to resolve outstanding issues.

Customers/Clients

Lead by example whilst continually providing/improving customer focused service to the customer/client.

To maintain good relations with all relevant regulatory authorities and local businesses.

Processes

To collate and send daily sales reports to Car Parks Manager.

Ensure procedures for handling and banking cash is adhered to.

Maintain compliance with company policies on Health and Safety.

Examines pertinent information to determine accuracy of customer complaint and to determine responsibility to errors.

Examines records such as transaction information and converses to obtain facts regarding customer complaints.

Follows up on recommended adjustments to ensure customer satisfaction.

To report identified criminal activity in accordance with company procedures.

To monitor the appearance of the designated car park, taking action to ensure that Company standards are achieved and maintained.

To ensure compliance with company quality standards and other procedures by regular reviews and audits.

To compile and communicate weekly rosters for car park staff and arrange cover for absence.

To monitor all aspects of the performance of the car park, including overtime, absence, staff hours and other controllable costs, taking remedial action where appropriate.

Financial

To reconcile takings with transaction records.

To work with all managers and staff to implement successful marketing and promotional initiatives to increase sales and maximize income opportunities.

To ensure the assigned car parks achieve budgeted turnover and operating profit.

Effective management of car park staff within budgeted costs.

Personal Competencies

Able to communicate fluently in both Arabic and English.

Proven ability to work with numbers, computerised systems and write reports.

Proven supervisory skills

Proven customer service skills
