Must Have Skills:
- Overall 5 years of experience with a minimum of 2 years in Service Now platform as a tester, especially in Service Now ATF.
- experience with Service Now Automated Testing Framework.
- experience with Agile software development.
- experience with manual testing and automation testing.
Good to Have :
-Service Now Application Developer certification a plus.
Primary responsibilities:
- Review and interpret functional and technical requirements.
- Create and maintain test scenarios/Scripts for manual and automation testing.
- Perform functional and regression testing, defect tracking from discovery to resolution.
- Clearly communicate issues/defects to appropriate resources in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with the development team to resolve defects.
- Work with the project team to help plan and estimate test activities for all test phases.
- Create training documentation and materials requirements.
experience Preferred:
- experience with Service Now Automated Testing Framework.
- experience with Agile software development.
- experience with manual testing and automation testing.
- 2 + Years of QA/Testing experience
- experience with multiple major version upgrades and system patches; explain the common upgrade issues caused by custom development.
- Authoring and maintaining technical documentation.
- Use analytical skills to investigate issues, find solutions to problems, and improve processes.
- Utilize an Agile/Scrum methodology to manage development work.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor\'s degree required with 2 + years of relevant experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working in the Service Now platform as a tester, especially in Service Now ATF.
- Service Now experience should include scripting in Service Now, tool configuration, design work, technical configuration and deployment. Specifically, candidates shall possess in-depth knowledge of the technical implementation and the skills to develop on the Service Now platform including the creation and/or customization of the core applications such as Incident, Problem, Change, Release, Asset Management, New Call, On Call and Service Catalog.
- experience implementing ITSM best practice processes and procedures in an enterprise environment.
- Service Now Application Developer certification a plus.
- Strong technical and platform knowledge with hands-on experience in root cause analysis and troubleshooting application issues.
