Essential duties and responsibilities:
- The primary mission for this role is to organize and facilitate scrum as part of the CRM Professional (Salesforce) development team and remove blockers for completing Sprint scope.
- Add value to your team and collaborate on design solutions while building relationships with the organization.
- Ensure that daily, weekly and monthly agile rituals take place, with efficiency and discipline.
- Be diligent about identifying blockages and developer divergence from Sprint scope/goals; work with product owners, other teams and team members toward resolution.
- Partner vigorously with product owners and the development team in their quest to do everything possible to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Support your product owners, so they understand what they need to know about changes within the group.
- This job will redirect incoming interference from stakeholders who may seek to deal directly with developers to address valid concerns.
- Be a clear, consistent source of trustworthy information; facilitate discussion, transparency, good decision-making and conflict resolution.
- Guide the team, and the organization at large, on how to use Agile/Scrum practices and values.
- Guide the team on how to self-organize, not just talk about it.
- Work hard to build trust within the team; mentor on self-organization, foster an open environment to help resolve issues and hold accountability.
- Apply Scrum at levels that fit the circumstances and group dynamic.
- Facilitate the work load and lead by example, seek consensus and help the team to be greater than the sum of its parts.
- This role will need to know our team members and our customers. Know, and care about, their likes and dislikes, what will improve their experiences, what will improve efficiencies and earn team member praise and sustain customer loyalty.

Qualifications:
- First or second level Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM I, II).
- High energy and solid work ethic, with motivational and leadership qualities.
- experience in the Scrum Master role for at least two years in a tech shop environment.
- A solid baseline of tech literacy is expected; hands-on experience at coding/software development will be preferred.
- Good working experience of project management in the implementation of applications on Salesforce platform.
- Solid knowledge and understanding of Scrum terminology: servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment and increased transparency.
- Demonstrated ability to apply common sense to \"intentional gaps\" in the framework.
- Some understanding of Dev Ops and cloud concepts including CI/CD, auto-scaling, automated and manual testing methodologies, pairing, etc.
- experience with project management software (Jira) and diagramming tools.
- Working knowledge of non-Scrum Agile approaches: XP, Kanban, FDD, etc.
- experience in project management will be preferred.
- Some experience as a team lead will be preferred.
- Excellent communications skills - written, verbal and visual.
Education and/or experience:
- Bachelor\'s degree and/or equivalent experience.
- At least 2 years’ experience scrum master experience.
- At least 2 years’ experience of project management.
- At least 2 years’ experience with Salesforce.
Supervisory responsibilities:
None officially, to start, but your leadership will be welcomed and recognized.
