The position of a Receptionist requires an employee with initiative and who is highly self-motivated. People Management, Inventory Management, Financial Management, Customer Service skills and experience as well as in depth knowledge of the industry are essential. The role requires a receptionist with a passion for beauty services and product knowledge.
As a receptionist you are required to manage and monitor the operations of the branch, to make sure that it operates to high level of quality and hygienic standard as per company guidelines.
Warmly welcome customers upon their arrival.
Inform assigned Therapist/Stylist of their arrival.
Answering the phone and following Juices phone protocol when answering the phone and scheduling appointments for all stylists and therapists is the main job duty. Calling or sending messages to confirm the appointments is part of the job.
Ensure that you represent the salon to the highest level of professionalism. A friendly smile and a pleasant nature to make clients feel welcome and at home.
Follow up with clients for booking future appointments.
Process transactions (cash and credit cards) and issue receipts.
Welcome walk-ins, answer questions about services and schedule appointments based on availability.
Inform clients about new services and discounts.
Cross-sell services and products when appropriate (e.g. Through packages, Membership and gift cards).
Maintain a tidy reception area.
Maintains records and files especially sales reports and staff attendance.
Check Inventory Stock for retail and consumption, Maintain reports for the same.
Place Orders for Inventory as per salon requirements.
