Senior IT Administrator
Location, UAE, Dubai
Responsibilities
• Architecting, designing and development of Citrix Virtualization technologies ( Citrix Xen App, Xen Desktop, and Net Scaler etc.)
• Firewall Installations, Fortinet.
• Installation and Configuration of Avaya IP Telephones.
• Windows server, Active directory
• Setting up of email account in Microsoft Outlook and office 365
• Manage cloud servers like aws
• Configure and install software, servers, routers and other network devices.
• Monitor network performance and integrity.
• Leads the day-to-day operational support for server, storage or network infrastructures.
• Leads in planning and implementing changes to infrastructure with the goal of enhancing performance.
• Performs server data backup, data migration and disaster recovery operations.
• Performs operating system upgrades and track system licensing.
• Configures security settings or access permissions for groups and individuals.
• Provides technical support (help desk) to users by troubleshooting problems related to network or platform performance.
• Documents complex procedures and troubleshooting procedures related to systems/networks software and hardware.
• Leads the configuration and maintenance of office and/or production software, adjunct support and/or utility software, i.e. Virus malware protection, office application Suites and/or application software.
• Works with Business Applications, vendors, consultants, contractors, and IT personnel.
• Maintain complete technical documentation.
• Suggest improvements to network performance, capacity, and scalability.
Requirements
• BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• Strong understanding and experience with Citrix Virtualization technologies, Windows Server and Desktop operating system technologies (Windows Server 2012R2, Windows7 and Windows 10)
• Sharp troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently
