They are required to maintain a clean and mechanically sound bus, and conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure the safety of the vehicle and passengers. Bus Drivers must also be able to communicate effectively with passengers, collect fares, and provide information about routes and schedules. This is a position that requires a valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with passenger endorsement. A Bus Driver should have a good driving record and be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. A successful candidate for this position should be reliable, punctual, and have excellent customer service skills.
