Cashier Vacancy in Dubai

Responsibilities:

Greet customers and provide them with a positive shopping experience.

Scan items, process sales transactions, and handle cash, credit, or debit card payments.

Ensure pricing accuracy and resolve any discrepancies or issues with customers.

Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, including cash register and surrounding areas.

Bag merchandise and assist customers with packing as needed.

Answer customer inquiries and provide information about products, promotions, and store policies.

Balance cash register at the end of each shift and reconcile cash drawer.

Prepare daily sales reports and maintain transaction records.

Follow all cash handling procedures and security measures to prevent theft and fraud.

Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operation of the checkout process.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Proven work experience as a Cashier or in a similar role.

Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.

Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Basic computer skills and familiarity with POS (Point of Sale) systems.
