Position: School Bus Attendant

Are you passionate about ensuring the safety and well-being of students during their school commute? We are currently seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as School Bus Attendants.

Responsibilities:

Assist students with boarding and disembarking from the school bus safely and in an orderly manner.

Ensure that students are seated properly and securely while the bus is in motion.

Monitor student behavior during transit and enforce safety rules and regulations.

Provide assistance to students with special needs, including helping them with seatbelts, mobility devices, or other accommodations.

Communicate effectively with the bus driver and school staff regarding any issues or concerns related to student behavior or safety.

Maintain cleanliness and orderliness on the bus, including picking up trash and reporting any maintenance issues.

Respond promptly and calmly to emergencies or incidents, following established procedures and protocols.

Requirements:

Previous experience as a school bus attendant or in a similar role preferred but not required.

Genuine concern for the safety and well-being of students.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, especially when dealing with children.

Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.

Physical stamina to assist students and navigate the bus during the duration of shifts.

Flexibility to work varying schedules, including early mornings and afternoons.
