Responsibilities:

Serve as the main point of contact for clients seeking catering services, including responding to inquiries, providing information, and coordinating bookings.

Collaborate with clients to understand their event requirements, including menu preferences, dietary restrictions, budget considerations, and logistical needs.

Create customized catering proposals and menus based on client preferences and event specifications, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.

Coordinate all aspects of event planning and execution, including menu selection, staffing requirements, equipment rentals, venue setup, and timeline management.

Communicate effectively with internal teams, including chefs, kitchen staff, and service personnel, to ensure seamless coordination and execution of events.

Maintain accurate records of client communications, event details, and financial transactions using computerized systems and software.

Conduct site visits and inspections of event venues to assess layout, equipment needs, and other logistical considerations.

Assist with marketing and promotional activities to attract new clients and promote the company\'s catering services.

Handle client feedback and resolve any issues or concerns in a professional and timely manner to ensure customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

Bachelors degree in hospitality management, event planning, business administration, or a related field preferred.

Previous experience in catering coordination, event planning, or hospitality management preferred.

Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and work effectively with internal teams.

Proficiency in computerized systems and software for event planning, catering management, and communication (e.g, Microsoft Office, catering software).

Knowledge of food safety regulations, catering industry standards, and best practices.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules.

Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing client needs and event requirements.
