Role and Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and cost estimates using CAD software and modeling tools, optimizing designs for functionality, efficiency, and sustainability.

Perform structural analysis, calculations, and simulations to assess structural integrity, stability, and performance of buildings, bridges, roads, and other civil infrastructure components.

Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources, coordinating with contractors, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies to ensure timely delivery and quality assurance throughout all project phases.

Conduct site inspections, field surveys, and construction oversight to monitor progress, resolve issues, and ensure adherence to design standards, codes, and safety regulations.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to integrate sustainable design principles, green technologies, and resilience measures into project plans and construction practices.

Conduct risk assessments, develop contingency plans, and implement mitigation strategies to address project challenges and mitigate potential disruptions.

Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in civil engineering, participating in professional development activities and continuing education programs to enhance technical skills and expertise.

Requirements:

Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or related field; professional engineer (PE) license or EIT certification is preferred.

Proven experience in civil engineering design, analysis, and project management, with a strong portfolio of successful projects in diverse sectors.

Proficiency in CAD software, engineering design tools, and project management software, with the ability to produce accurate drawings, models, and documentation.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex technical issues, propose effective solutions, and make sound engineering judgments.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and stakeholders.
