Responsibilities:

Safely operate company-owned buses and transport passengers to and from designated locations.

Adhere to established routes and schedules, ensuring timely arrival and departure at each stop.

Provide exceptional customer service to passengers, including assisting with boarding, disembarking, and answering inquiries.

Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the bus, checking for mechanical issues, cleanliness, and adherence to safety standards.

Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and passenger counts.

Follow all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies while operating the bus.

Communicate effectively with dispatchers and supervisors to report any incidents, delays, or maintenance issues.

Ensure the safety and security of passengers and their belongings while on board the bus.

Assist passengers with disabilities or special needs, including operating wheelchair lifts and securing mobility devices.

Participate in ongoing training and professional development programs as required.

Requirements:

Valid commercial drivers license (CDL) with passenger (P) endorsement and a clean driving record.

Previous experience as a bus driver or commercial driver preferred.

Knowledge of traffic laws, regulations, and safe driving practices.

Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.

Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations.

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Attention to detail and ability to follow directions.

Physical stamina and the ability to sit, stand, and drive for extended periods.

Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
