We are currently seeking compassionate and responsible individuals to join our team as Bus Attendants. This role is vital in ensuring the safety and well-being of passengers during their travels.

Responsibilities:

Assist passengers, particularly students, with boarding and disembarking from buses safely, providing guidance and support as needed.

Ensure that passengers remain seated and adhere to safety regulations while the bus is in motion, addressing disruptive behavior or safety concerns as they arise.

Maintain a calm and orderly environment on the bus, fostering a positive and respectful atmosphere among passengers.

Assist students with special needs, disabilities, or mobility challenges, helping them to navigate the bus and secure mobility aids or assistive devices as required.

Perform routine safety checks and inspections of the bus interior, including seat belts, emergency exits, and passenger seating areas, to ensure compliance with safety standards.

Communicate effectively with bus drivers, transportation staff, and school personnel to coordinate routes, schedules, and passenger accommodations.

Respond promptly and appropriately to emergencies, accidents, or medical incidents on the bus, administering first aid and alerting emergency services or authorities as necessary.

Maintain accurate records of passenger attendance, incidents, and disciplinary actions, documenting relevant details and reporting to appropriate supervisors or administrators.

Provide assistance and support to bus drivers during loading and unloading procedures, ensuring that passengers depart and arrive safely at their destinations.

Follow company policies, procedures, and guidelines for passenger transportation, safety protocols, and professional conduct at all times.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent qualification required; additional training or certification in student transportation, passenger assistance, or first aid is beneficial.

Previous experience working with children, seniors, or individuals with special needs preferred but not required; training will be provided.

Compassionate and patient demeanor, with a genuine interest in ensuring the safety and well-being of passengers.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally and effectively with passengers of diverse backgrounds and abilities.

Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful or emergency situations, making sound decisions and taking appropriate action to ensure passenger safety.

Physical stamina and mobility to assist passengers, including bending, lifting, and reaching to provide support and assistance as needed.

Flexibility to work various shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and occasional weekends, based on bus routes and scheduling requirements.

Valid drivers license and clean driving record may be required for certain positions involving driving responsibilities.
