We are committed to providing safe and reliable transportation services to our passengers. We are currently seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Bus Attendants. This role plays a vital part in ensuring the safety and well-being of passengers during their commute.

Responsibilities:

Assist passengers, including students and other commuters, as they board and exit the bus, ensuring a safe and orderly process.

Help passengers find their seats and secure belongings, providing assistance to those with special needs or mobility challenges.

Monitor passenger behavior and enforce safety rules and regulations while on the bus, maintaining a calm and respectful environment.

Secure mobility aids, such as wheelchairs or Walkers, and assist passengers with securing seatbelts and safety harnesses as needed.

Communicate effectively with the bus driver and other team members to coordinate boarding, seating, and disembarking procedures.

Respond promptly to emergencies and incidents on the bus, following established protocols for evacuations, medical emergencies, and other safety concerns.

Maintain cleanliness and orderliness on the bus, including picking up trash, wiping down seats, and ensuring emergency exits are unobstructed.

Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or passenger concerns to the bus driver or transportation supervisor promptly.

Provide assistance and support to passengers during inclement weather, traffic delays, or other challenging situations.

Attend training sessions and participate in ongoing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge related to passenger safety and customer service.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent qualification required.

Previous experience working with children, individuals with disabilities, or in a customer service role preferred but not required.

Ability to communicate effectively in English, with additional language skills beneficial.

Strong interpersonal skills and a positive attitude, with the ability to interact professionally and courteously with passengers of all ages.

Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure and respond effectively to emergencies and unexpected situations.

Physical stamina and the ability to stand, bend, and lift moderate loads during the course of the workday.

Commitment to safety and adherence to established protocols and procedures for passenger transportation.

Flexibility to work variable hours and schedules based on transportation routes and school schedules.
