Responsibilities:

Greet guests warmly upon arrival, escort them to their tables, and present menus, specials, and promotional offers in a courteous and engaging manner.

Assist guests in making menu selections, offering recommendations, and accommodating special dietary needs or preferences, ensuring a personalized and enjoyable dining experience.

Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently, entering orders into the POS system, and confirming any modifications or special requests with the kitchen and bar staff.

Serve food and drinks promptly and courteously, presenting dishes attractively, and verifying order accuracy before serving to guests.

Anticipate guests needs throughout the meal, replenishing beverages, clearing empty plates and glassware, and addressing any concerns or requests promptly and professionally.

Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders, communicating any guest feedback or special requests to ensure quality and consistency in service.

Process guest payments accurately, handling cash, credit/debit cards, and electronic payments securely and following established procedures for cash handling and reconciliation.

Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area, including resetting tables, arranging seating, and assisting with general cleanup tasks to uphold sanitation and safety standards.

Follow restaurant policies and procedures for service excellence, including dress code, grooming standards, and customer interaction guidelines.

Contribute to a positive and cohesive team environment, supporting colleagues, sharing knowledge, and fostering a culture of collaboration and professionalism.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent qualification required; additional education or training in hospitality management or related field preferred.

Previous experience as a waiter/waitress, server, or hospitality role preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided.

Strong customer service skills, with the ability to engage guests, build rapport, and exceed their expectations in a fast-paced dining environment.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in spoken and written English; additional language skills may be an asset.

Attention to detail and multitasking abilities to manage multiple tables, prioritize tasks, and deliver accurate and efficient service under pressure.

Team player mentality, with a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and management.

Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs and scheduling requirements.

Knowledge of food and beverage offerings, menu items, and basic culinary terminology is desirable.
