Responsibilities:

Perform routine cleaning tasks in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas according to established standards and procedures.

Make beds, change linens, clean bathrooms, dust furniture, and vacuum carpets to ensure rooms are tidy and sanitized for guests.

Replenish amenities such as Towels, toiletries, and refreshments in guest rooms and public spaces as needed.

Inspect rooms for damages, maintenance issues, and lost items, and report any discrepancies to the housekeeping supervisor.

Collaborate with other housekeeping staff to prioritize tasks, manage workloads, and ensure efficient cleaning operations.

Adhere to safety protocols and use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and responsibly to prevent accidents and injuries.

Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor when interacting with guests and colleagues, addressing any concerns or requests promptly and courteously.

Follow proper procedures for handling lost and found items, including logging and storing items securely until claimed by guests or returned to the appropriate department.

Participate in training programs and meetings to enhance skills, knowledge, and teamwork within the housekeeping department.

Assist with special cleaning projects and deep cleaning tasks as assigned by management.

Requirements:

Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role preferred but not required.

Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain cleanliness and order in various areas of the hotel.

Excellent time management and organizational skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines effectively.

Physical stamina and the ability to perform repetitive tasks, lift heavy objects, and stand for extended periods.

Positive attitude, reliability, and a willingness to work as part of a team to achieve common goals.

Good communication skills and the ability to understand and follow instructions in English.

Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays, based on the needs of the hotel.
