Responsibilities:

Greet customers as they enter the store and provide assistance as needed.

Assist customers in locating products, answering questions, and providing product recommendations.

Process transactions accurately and efficiently using cash registers or point-of-sale (POS) systems.

Handle cash, credit card, and other forms of payment in accordance with store policies and procedures.

Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including stocking shelves, rotating merchandise, and tidying up display areas.

Monitor inventory levels and notify management of low stock or replenishment needs.

Ensure compliance with company policies, including pricing, signage, and promotional displays.

Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns in a professional and courteous manner.

Follow safety and security protocols to prevent loss, theft, and accidents in the store.

Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent

Previous retail experience preferred but not required.

Strong customer service skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Attention to detail and accuracy in cash handling and transaction processing.

Basic math skills and proficiency in using cash registers or POS systems.

Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
